Free dentist for the poor

1. Until now we have managed 90% of our project costs with our own, private funds.  The other 10% that were donated have been used mainly for the medical projects and our experimental mechanical drum dryer. 2. Additional donations help us to accelerate many of our small projects like for example the realization of our planned investment in the shredder, oil pressing machine, upgrades for the mechanical drum dryer, a barn for our animals and so on. 3. Because we can use our own family infrastrucure for our projects (workshop, car, office, personell etc.)  and also our family owned land we have nearly no administrative costs and are able to make our decisions quick and efficiently. 4. The major part of our investments goes to the people of Tigaon, like the wages we pay, assignments for the local contractors and craftsmen and so on. Real value adding for the local economy.

5. We work on a completely neutral basis without any religious, political or ideological priority. Our only goal is to improve the situation of the local inhabitants. The only sustainable way to do this is to raise their regular income (for example through agricultural development) and / or to reduce their costs for everyday needs (for example by providing free medical care) . These people don't want any compassion but a chance to improve their lives with their own efforts. 6. To conduct such a project in long terms on a sustainable basis,  pragmatic thinking is essential.  There's no place for unrealistic social romanticism, our target group are people living in true poverty,  not zoo animals. 7. If you support our project, even if we don't work with compassion mongering photos of undernourished kids with dreary eyes, you will not regret your donation. You will be an active part of a positive development, because we stay in touch with our supporters and keep everyone informed about the ongoing of our projects and our up to date situation. Helpful suggestions from your side and also visitors who want to see the project in real life are always welcome here!

On our demonstration farm seminars for small farmers take place regularily. Moreover we constantly strive to improve our strategies for direct marketing, processing and storage of farming products and our support for the local economy.
